The rule that works best: pick the store with one specific moment of their life in mind (“for your first running shoes”), not just their taste.
The most original gift cards
A big-store card is practical. These surprise more, because they say something about the other person, or about the two of you:
- A trip you split. An Airbnb or airline card, and in the letter, where you want to go together. AirlineGift works with several airlines in Mexico and Peru.

How to give a gift card with Rosify today
- Buy the digital card in the store or on its website. You’ll get a code or a link by email.
- Create a gift in the Rosify creator with their name and write your letter: say why you picked that store. It’s free.
- Paste the code at the end of the letter, or send it separately right after. If it’s in the letter, share the link only with them: anyone with the link can read it.
- Share the link on WhatsApp with a line first, like “I made you something, open it when you have a minute”.
An example letter: “Laura, you’ve been saying for weeks that you need new running shoes. I don’t know your size or your brand, so you choose. The code is below. I get to pick our first run together. Happy birthday.”

Coming soon: the gift card inside your Rosify
We’re working on letting you add a gift card when you create your Rosify, without buying it separately. The idea: you pick the store and the amount, write your letter, and they open both at once. It isn’t available yet. If you’re interested, email contact@rosify.org and we’ll let you know when it is.

Does Rosify sell gift cards?
Not yet. Today you can buy the card from the store and give it inside a Rosify gift with your letter. We’re working on adding it directly.
What’s the safest gift card if I don’t know their taste?
A big store in their country: Amazon or Target in the US, Amazon in Mexico and Spain, Falabella in Peru and Colombia, Éxito in Colombia.
Does a gift card bought in another country work?
Rarely: most only work in the country where they’re bought. Check the region before you pay, especially for game stores.
How much should I put on it?
What you’d spend on a normal gift for them. A small amount with a good letter feels better than a big one with nothing.
Can I put the code inside the letter?
Yes, if you share the link only with them, because anyone with the link can read the letter. Or send the code separately and use the letter to explain the gift.
How do I keep it from feeling last-minute?
Say in the letter why you chose that store and what moment of their life it’s for. “For your first running shoes” doesn’t feel last-minute.
